FES Beijing supported a 1,5-track dialogue on sustainable peace in Ukraine, that was organized by the Grandview Institution in September 2025 in Beijing.

FES Beijing supported a 1,5-track dialogue on sustainable peace in Ukraine, that was organized by the Grandview Institution in September 2025 in Beijing.

In addition to Chinese and European foreign and security policy experts as well as representatives from the German, French, and British embassies, former Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimikin and former Deputy Foreign Minister Oleksandr Chalyi also took part in the closed-door seminar to discuss possibilities and mechanisms for lasting peace in Ukraine.

In 2024, the FES supported a Grandview study project on China´s contribution for a sustainable peace solution in Ukraine.

In the summer of 2025, the FES Beijing together with FES Berlin, FES Russia and FES Central Asia organized an exchange with experts from Grandview on: China, Russia, the EU and tomorrow´s geopolitics in June in Berlin.
