艾伯特基金会北京办公室与中华女子学院共同举办了第四届性别平等与发展研讨会。来自中德两国的不同学术背景的专家讨论了自1995年北京第四届世界妇女大会至今25年间的进展和挫折。
历史上不乏涌现杰出女性，然而她们的故事却鲜为人知。与其他地方类似，在亚洲，学校和媒体上常被谈及的政治和社会斗争标志性人物大多是男性。然而，也有许多女性取得了杰出的成就，克服重重困难并为其信仰做出了巨大的牺牲。这些女性鼓舞了其他人，带来持久的社会影响力。
因此，作为亚洲区域项目的一部分，艾伯特基金会北京办公室与中华女子学院、北京达鸾翔宇慈善基金会合作，发掘并讲述邓颖超的生平事迹。我们希望通过这则短篇故事，与大家分享其事迹鼓舞人心的力量，展示中国性别平等的发端之一。
